Our League’s annual meeting will be Thursday, June 19th. Alisa Henderson has made possible another great dinner and evening with our return to McQuades in Lynbrook.
Enclosed in this issue please find by-law changes, a slate of nominations, a budget, and our program for 2014-2015 which we will vote on at that meeting.
May will see our League in action, registering student voters at several high schools in our area as well as assisting other Leagues in the county with this project.
Our League’s Student in Albany from Hewlett High School, Nathalie Nidetch from Hewlett High School will be attending the program from May 18th through May 21st with over fifty other high school students from Leagues throughout the state. She will get a firsthand experience with our New York State elected officials. We look forward to her talk about her experience at our annual meeting.
