Voters who cannot vote on Nov 8 can still apply for an absentee ballot in person at their County Board of Elections (BOE). Many BOEs have extended their office hours through this weekend – check the County BOE website for details. They will need to designate a reason why they will not be able to vote on November 8. After completing the absentee ballot application, they can receive and complete the absentee ballot at the same visit to the BOE.
