Inspectors are the heart of the Board of Elections on Election Day. Their role is to make sure that the voting experience goes smoothly for all.
No previous experience is necessary. Instructions will be provided. Although the day is long, your service is valuable to help ensure a fair and democratic election.
You will work from 5:15 a.m. and remain shortly after the 9:00 p.m. poll closing to help close the voting machine for the Primary Election on September 9, 2014 and General Election on November 4, 2014.
Pay for each election:
- Inspectors: $180.00
- Poll Coordinators: $210.00
(includes 1 hour lunch and 1 hour dinner break)
Must be a registered Nassau County Voter.
